Professor Dr Mushtak Al-Atabi is a mechanical engineer by training. He obtained his PhD from the University of Sheffield in the UK in the area of biological fluid mechanics. Mushtak is currently the Dean of the School of Engineering at Taylor's University (Malaysia). He has pioneered various educational innovations including the development of fully project based engineering curriculum.

Prof. Mushtak has initiated various technologically enhanced education programs.
