This highly interactive half-day workshop brought to you by the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) and Petrus, is taking place for the first time in Africa and follows the WEEF on Thursday 1st December 2022 from 11:00-19:30 SAST.

TURNING INSIGHT INTO ACTION
Since 2017, the GEDC Industry Forum has brought together leaders from the private sector, education and stakeholder organizations to develop the engineering leaders, experts and innovators of the future. The collaborative and creative format presents an opportunity to leverage collective knowledge and experience while developing an influential and meaningful dialogue. As we continue to adapt and respond to the ongoing disruption and transformation of industry, education and society we have a tremendous amount to learn from and share with each other. Our mission is to enable university-industry collaboration to address significant global challenges drawing on the four core themes below to do so.
In preparation for the workshop, an innovative combination of online webinars and small group seminars will be held in 2022 to explore key ideas in greater depth with our global audience. In case you missed the webinars that have taken

AN INVITATION ONLY EVENT
The workshop format is specifically designed to enable our community to flourish through the sharing of powerful ideas that result in inspired action. For that reason, attendance at the event is by invitation only and the number of places available deliberately low, spread equally across academia and industry. Typical attendees include President, Vice-Rector, Dean and Director of Education; R&D or HR Director, CEO, Head of Engineering, Innovation or Technology.

The GEDC Industry Forum registration fee of €150 covers in-person participation in the facilitated design workshop, research and materials, as well as catering and networking activities on December 1st.
