Razaq Ferhadi is a US-educated Kurdish-American who received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah, Master of Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from The George Washington University. After working as a Professional Engineer for many years in large companies such as Bechtel and few years as a government employee working as a Civil Engineer for the City of Alexandria, he went back to his native land to start teaching in the University of Salahaddin. He currently works as the Dean of the College of Engineering at The American University of Kurdistan (AUK). Razaq recently became an ABET Program Evaluator (PEV) to evaluate civil engineering programs for ABET accreditation around the world.
