Overview
The 29th International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Learning (ICL2026) and the 55th IGIP International Conference on Engineering Pedagogy will take place in Cologne, Germany, during 29 September – 02 October 2026.
This interdisciplinary conference aims to focus on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experiences in Interactive Collaborative Learning and Engineering Pedagogy.
Important Deadlines & Presentation Formats
Proposals for participation in the ICL 2026 conference can be submitted in the following formats:
| 01 Apr 2026 | Submission of structured abstracts (full papers, 2 pages; short papers, 1 page) and special session proposals |
| 15 Apr 2026 | Notification of acceptance for abstracts. Special Session notification and announcement. |
| 15 May 2026 | Submission of complete papers, special session papers, work in progress, posters and workshops/tutorials. |
| 15 Jun 2026 | Notification of acceptance |
| 15 Jul 2026 | Camera-ready due and author registration deadline |
| 30 Sep 2026 | ICL2025 opening |

Conference Proceedings
The conference proceedings will be published as ICL2026 Proceedings in the Springer series “Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems”. Books of this series are indexed with SCOPUS, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, SCImago, and submitted for consideration in Web of Science (WoS).
