The Association of European Civil Engineering Faculties (AECEF) and the European Civil Engineering Education and Training Association (EUCEET) invite researchers, educators, academic leaders, professionals, and institutions to participate in the AECEF–EUCEET Joint Conference 2027.
The conference will take place on 22–23 April 2027 at the University of Zagreb in Croatia, under the theme:
Civil Engineering Education for the Green and Digital Transformation
As the civil engineering profession responds to rapid technological advancement and the growing need for environmental sustainability, engineering education must continue to evolve. The conference will provide an international forum for sharing research, experiences, and innovative practices related to teaching, learning, curriculum development, and institutional collaboration.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore current challenges affecting civil engineering education, exchange effective approaches, and discuss how universities can equip future engineers with the knowledge and skills required to support Europe’s green and digital transformation.
Call for Papers
AECEF and EUCEET welcome paper submissions from academics, researchers, educators, practitioners, and other professionals working in civil engineering and engineering education.
Contributions addressing innovative educational practices, curriculum transformation, sustainability, digitalisation, emerging technologies, industry collaboration, and the future of civil engineering education are encouraged.
Selected contributions will be presented during the conference’s technical sessions, providing authors with an opportunity to share their work and engage with an international community of civil engineering educators and professionals.
