Marcello Nitz obtained his degree in Food Engineer from Mauá Institute of Technology in 1995. He obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2006. He has been a Professor of the Chemical and Food Engineering programs at Mauá Institute of Technology since 1997. His current research activity emphasizes unit operations of particulate systems. He has been the School of Engineering Dean and Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Mauá Institute of Technology since 2012 where significant modernization of the undergraduate programs are taking place.
